Aaron Goccia came to Dallas Bay in October 2015 after living and ministering in Asia since 2006.
Aaron has been married to Melanie since June 1, 2002. Both of their sons, Josiah 8 and Casey 6, were born in Thailand.
In 2001, Aaron graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Tennessee Temple University. He completed an M.A. from Southeastern College at Wake Forest and a M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2009.
Aaron and Melanie have lived in India, Thailand, and Malaysia. While living in Asia, Aaron worked on a variety of assignments including research and writing of his thesis on a people group living in the remote areas of the Indian desert. As well as training and discipling indigenous pastors, accounting for a community development organization, seminary professor, English teacher, and writer/photographer for EthnoTraveler magazine. He also organized study and ministry trips in multiple countries for US-based college and church groups.
While living and traveling throughout Asia, Aaron was privileged to extensively study and observe many world religions and cultures. He has a passion to engage people from all countries, cultures, and religions. This background allows him to easily talk with the multicultural residents that have settled in the area.
Although Aaron and his family miss life and ministry overseas, they are thrilled that God has allowed them to be a part of the ministry of Dallas Bay Church.
