Singles for Christ Ministry

The DBBC Singles for Christ (S4C) have been called to minister to the students at Teen Challenge of the Mid-South! Teen Challenge is a residential Christian based discipleship program that evangelizes people (average age of 25-30 years old) who have life-controlling drug, alcohol, and other addictions ~ changing their lives by introducing them to Jesus Christ! In December Singles for Christ (S4C) visited the Teen Challenge campus for Christmas dinner and provided home-baked desserts. We took gifts, enjoyed fellowship with the students, and we were blessed by testimonies of how lives had literally been snatched from the jaws of hell and placed in the loving arms of Teen Challenge where they are being transformed by the power of The Holy Spirit!

Recent Teen Challenge Events:
February 12th ~ S4C met for dinner and then attended a graduation service for 2 men who have successfully completed the Teen Challenge 12-month program. Fellow students, counselors and the graduates themselves shared testimonies. Their friends and family members were privileged to bear witness to the impact of our Heavenly Father's mercy and saving grace....praising our almighty God for saving the lives of their loved ones! S4C was there to celebrate the transformation of these 2 precious lives, give gift cards, and encourage the graduates as they go out to influence others for the cause of Christ.

February 13th ~ S4C visited the Teen Challenge campus to celebrate Valentine's Day by sharing the greatest love of all...Jesus Christ! We joined them for dinner and S4C members provided delicious homemade desserts for the Social. Members of S4C, David, Steve, and Vivica provided entertainment in sharing God’s love in song. The group sang along and we were further entertained by a TC student who played the guitar and sang for us as well! What a lovely evening of sweet fellowship was enjoyed by all!
